Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how VeriFashion ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the VeriFashion mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, username, and password. You may also choose to provide additional profile details. This information is used to create and manage your account and to personalize your experience.

Measurements and Product Links

VeriFashion lets you scan yourself using our voice-guided system, producing accurate measurements if you follow the instructions. Once you've been measured, you can paste product links from retailers we support and we'll give you a size recommendation for that product based on your measurements.

Usage Analytics

We collect analytics data about how you interact with the App — including device information, app version, features used, session duration, and crash logs. This helps us understand usage patterns, fix problems, and improve the App. Analytics data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

Fit Card Pages

Fit Card pages are public and can be viewed without an account. When you view a Fit Card, ask for a size recommendation on one, or click through to a retailer, we process the IP address your request came from. We use it to protect the service from abuse — for example, limiting how many requests a single visitor can make — and to respond to lawful requests. We keep it only as long as we need it for that purpose. We do not use it to identify you, to build a profile of you, or to determine your location.

The measurements you enter to get a size recommendation are used to calculate that recommendation and are not stored. We record which size was recommended, never the measurements you typed.

Reporting a Fit Card

If you report a Fit Card, we keep the report: the reason you chose, anything you wrote in the description, the IP address the report came from, and your browser's user-agent string. You may also give us an email address, which is optional — we use it only to confirm we received the report and to tell you what we decided, and we delete it 30 days after the report is decided.

We record the IP address for two reasons: so that one person cannot file the same report repeatedly to force a card down, and so we can recognise a coordinated attempt to do that. We delete the address itself 90 days after the report is filed. Alongside it we store a one-way identifier derived from the address using a secret key we hold; that identifier cannot be turned back into an address, and we keep it indefinitely so a repeat abuser of this form is still recognised after the address is gone.

We keep the rest of the report — the reason, the description, and what we decided — indefinitely. It is the record of a moderation decision, and we need to be able to explain that decision later.

The creator of a card is never told who reported it. If we act on a report, we tell the creator which rule their card broke; we do not show them your description, your email address, or anything identifying you. You can report a card without an account, and you can also write to us directly at info@verifashion.com.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features;
  • Authenticate fashion items and power verification tools;
  • Personalize content and improve your experience;
  • Diagnose technical issues and monitor performance;
  • Communicate with you about updates, support, and important notices.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the App (such as cloud hosting and analytics providers), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below or by using the mechanisms in the app.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account information from within the App. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@verifashion.com.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact Us
